Well not quite... but we are happy to announce that 'Crisis at Christmas Charity Comedy Fundraiser' (with our resident comedian Dylan Dodds compering) raised £101 for homeless charity Crisis!

Dylan would like to extend a huge thank you to all the acts who performed and to all the punters who came, donated and (most importantly) laughed at his jokes. He adds "I was going to start a charity myself for homeless beavers, but no one gave a dam".

The idiot.

If you couldn't make it there's still time to donate to Crisis and make a huge difference to someone's Christmas.

The venue were also very happy with the turnout so stay tuned to see if another stand-up show runs there in the future!

Dylan will be MCing a charity gig in Watford on Sunday 20th December.

'Crisis at Christmas Charity Comedy Fundraiser' - easily abbreviated to CaCChCoF (pronounced CraKChCough) - will be raising funds for homeless charity Crisis.

The gig will be at Fresh Shop in Watford (2 Market Street, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 0PD) who have an excellent selection of cakes and drinks available to go alongside your comedy.
Doors are at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8 and will be done by 10.30.
Tickets are available on the door for five English pounds.

Other than Dylan the gig features some of our favourite Comedians, so it promises to be a fantastically hilarious evening!

These include:

Tom Ward
2014 BBC Radio New Comedy Award - Finalist
New Act of the Year 2014 - Finalist

"He was amazingly assured, improvising with the audience when he spotted a man who was maybe too relaxed in the crowd. There was certainly plenty of originality here, leading the crowd in one direction before taking sharp verbal detours."
- Bruce Dessau (Evening Standard & Beyond The Joke)

Jon Long

A regular MC at a number of venues across the country, has performed at the London Comedy Store, and both the Brighton and Bath Komedia.

TRIGGER WARNING: May include Ukelele

Ian Lane
New Comedian Of The Year 2014 - Finalist

"Ian Lane is an exciting new comedian doing inventive, unique routines [...] He is an irresistibly bookable alternative comedian." Bobby Carroll, Comedy Knights

Candy Gigi
2014 Malcolm Hardee award for comic originality - WINNER

"Her force-of-nature performance is as close to a mental health case study as you could get, raging incomprehensibly and acting (apparently) uncontrollably." Steve Bennett, Chortle

Ed Day
So You Think You're Funny 2015 - Third Place

"Probably the most relaxed act of the night [...] ingenious visual gags" Jay Richardson, Chortle

Andy Barr
“Plus Andy Barr” – Laugh Out London

A few other acts are yet to be announced so keep your eyes open for more news on this front...
